Preventative Care - The "6 month check-up"

 We have the best hygienists around!  They truly care about your dental needs and concerns.  We recommend seeing them twice a year for your 6 month cleaning and exam.  Little problems can be found before they turn into something more severe.  We will make sure all your x-rays are up to date and that you are involved in all of the treatment planning aspects.  

 If you have ever had a crown completed at a traditional dental office, likely you recall the messy impression "goop" and temporaries that always fall off.  At our Watkins Glen Office we offer advanced CEREC technology, where we are able to fabricate your crown and cement it for you all in about an hour and a half.  NO MORE GOOP...NO MORE TEMPORARIES!   We hope to bring this technology to the Elmira office soon.

We know the dentist can be a stressful situation for little ones.  Dr. Haentges graduated with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry and will take the little extra time to explain everything in detail to both parents and little patients so that everyone is comfortable in their dental home.  It is important for children to start to visit the dentist when their first tooth comes in or when they turn 1 year old.  We can't wait to meet your little ones and share some "Dad" jokes with them!  

 Looking for an implant?  Our Watkins Glen office uses a brand new, state of the art 3D Cone Beam from VATECH America.  This technology allows us to see all dimensions of bone support for possible implants.  The Cone Beam also allows us to place all of our implants via CT guided technology.  This creates a much more predictable outcome and allows us to place the best size implant for you, our patient.  Our Cone Beam also allows us to see any additional pathology traditional panoramic x-rays cannot detect.
